Funding to hire 346 substitute Special Education teachers
The Ministry of Education, Research, and Religious Affairs is proceeding with the disbursement of financial credits for the hiring of 346 Special Educational Personnel (EEP) to staff Centres of Differential Diagnosis, Diagnosis and Support (KEDDY), as well as Committees of Diagnostic Educational Evaluation and Support (EDEAY).
The hiring is in the framework of the Act “Development of Support Structures for the Induction and Integration in the Educational System of Students with Disabilities and/or Special Education Needs, for the 2016-2017 School Year”
The project is part of the Operational Programme “Development of Human Resources, Education and Lifelong Learning” (ESPA 2014-2020).
The distribution of personnel was designed to cover the following positions, by Regional Directorate of Education:
