Ministry hires 254 Special Education teachers for individualised support
The Ministry of Education, Research, and Religious Affairs hereby announces the hiring of 254 full-time and part-time substitute teachers, in the framework of the Act “Programme of Measures for Individualised Support for Students with Disabilities and/or Special Education Needs for the 2016-2017 School Year”, with the code OPS 5001975 . The Act is part of the Operational Programme “Development of Human Resources, Education, and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020”.
Teachers hired will be part-time and full time secondary school Special Schooling and Education teachers, with private law contracts, in the following branches and Specialisations: PE02.50, PE03.50, PE 04.50, PE 04, PE 06.50 PE08, PE 10.50, PE11.01, PE 15, PE 18.50, PE 18, PE19-20.50 and TE16.50.
Educators who are hired must appear before their local Directorates of Secondary School Education to assume their duties between Thursday 24 November and Friday, 25 November, 2016, where they will be posted by decision of the Directorate Supervisors in vacant slots at school units of Special Schooling and Education in the region where they were hired, until the end of the academic year.
