The Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs announces that for the 2016-2017 school year, 666 Special Education and Training (EAE) teachers (in the PE71 and PE70.50 categories) and 109 Special Education and Training (EAE) kindergarten teachers (PE61 and PE60.50 categories) will be hired as temporary substitute teachers for the parallel support –co-education of students with disabilities and/or special education needs in primary schools.
The hiring is in the framework of the Act “Programme for specialised educational support for the induction of students with disabilities and/or special education needs for the 2016-2017 school year”, with the code OPS 5001960, of the Operational Programme “Development of Human Resources, Education, and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020”.
Those hired are requested to appear before the Directorates of Primary School Education to assume their duties between Thursday, November 3 and Friday 4 November, 2016, and they will be posted by decision of the Director of Education at the local schools where they have been hired, until the end of the school year.
